TEHUNATEPEC, Ancient City Maya….. land of the Great Priest Tatamackly, guardian of the stones of resurrection and Keeper of the Temple of Coatlique Goddess, cruel mother of the earth always eager of blood. In the Temple of the Goddess Coatlique, the Priest is about to complete the sacrifice that will make the Goddess to revive, with the help of the Witch Xilbabà. Tatamackly starts the ritual , sacrificing the lives of young girls and when just one sacrifice is left, the ritual is interrupted by the irruption of the Soldiers of the King… Tatamackly is seriously injured, Xilbaba takes the dying body of the Priest and runs away. The body of Tatamackly will come back to life to complete the interrupted sacrifice, only when his disciples will come to free him... City of SANT’ISIDRO, nowadays….A group of young university students arrive in the city of Sant’Isidro to effect some research: Tom, Sara, Viola, Rose, Ecktor, Patrick meet here their guide, Santos, who gets mysteriously killed. The guideless guys ask for help to an old healer, Bruja, who takes them in lethal traps sacrificing them for the resurrection of the Great Priest Tatamackly … for two of them there’s one way out only….
