The film is set in 1964 and tells about the summer holidays of a group of young boys and girls. The protagonists are two Neapolitans, Paolo and Marina, brother and sister, who meets with other youngsters in Versilia. They all become friends even if they come from different social backgrounds and the summer adventure begins. They take us throughout a review of those years: bowling, surfing, racing on their Vespas in the pine wood, stealing their first kisses, going to the late-night spots, listening to the Beatles. Love blesses them all. For Paolo and Marina summer is the cause of illusions that autumn will carry away. We meet them again today. The girls and boys have become older, but the are still there, on the same beach, listening to the same music...
