CRIME BUSTERS a film by Michele Massimo Tarantini
Capt. A. Altieri, an instructor officer of paratroops, while waiting for a friend teacher - Anna - at the school entrance, succeeds in preventing the kidnapping of a child by three hooligans. Having been attacked, the same evening, by the men, and rescued by a police car, he subsequently participates, together with commissary Tosi, in an enquiry about his attackers. They note that the arms of the bandits are exactly the same as the ones supplied to the army. Who sells them the arms? Altieri's friend, Anna, is threatened by the men and saved just in time by Altieri and Tosi. But the latter still cannot find evidence that a multinational company producer of armaments -as they suspect- is supplying also the bandits. A friend of Altieri is requested to enquire in an airport of Northern Italy, which is the actual destination of the arms being shipped from there, but he is killed before he finds out. Then Altieri tries again, this time by opening the security box of the company and examining the documents it contains. He finds out that the people of the Ministry, as well as many politicians, are block-mailed so that they do not put any obstacles to the political trend wanted by international capitalism. A bomb that also kills Anna, whom he had reached after stealing the documents, wounds Altieri. He is in time to shoot the director of the multinational company, before Tosi intervenes to stop him.
