DIARY OF A MAD OLD MAN
Upon Satsuko’s arrival, a crack opens in the cocoon of selfishness and disenchantment imprisoning the mind and the senses of the elderly professor. He lives castled amongst mountains of books in his beautiful home in the Tuscan countryside among centenarian vineyards and olive-groves. He writes by hand, with an old fountain pen, his new essay, perhaps his last one. Satsuko comes from Tokyo. She is modern and seductive like her city. She has eyes and a smile that enchant, lips like cherries, silky black hair, long legs as if drawn for the most sensual of the Manga. It seems she was born for dancing, for the catwalk, for love, for desire. The mind of the professor is set on fire. All his senses awake. Little does it matter that Satsuko is his son’s young wife. Satsuko is to be admired, is to be listened to, is to be smelt, touched… Satsuko is to be savoured….
