Three days in the life of Michele, a young opera-singer agent who returns beforehand from a business trip to unexpectedly discover that his wife Martina is about to commit suicide. Once the man starts looking into her life, he discovers that she has been betraying him for months. This revelation causes an eruption of feelings, while all his points of reference vanish at once. Without revealing his discoveries to Martina, Michele starts spying on her interior world to try and understand what led her to such extreme positions. In the end, he'll discover she has been living a parallel life and is a different person from the woman he knew. In spite of his feelings of defeat and betrayal, he'll help her out of the labyrinth of her messed up feelings, leading her to her own self.
